Project APEX Schools
Currently Project APEX operates in five schools in Cebu, five schools in Laguna, and eight schools in Leyte.
Cebu
Cebu, holding vast opportunities for both business and industry, adopts a model for each project site based on its socioeconomic context. The project sites with their adopted model is as follows:
- Naga National High School, Naga, Cebu - Technical Preparation
- Cansojong National High School, Talisay City - Entrepreneurial Preparation
- Marigondon National High School, Lapu-Lapu City - Technical Preparation
- Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School, Mandaue City - Technical Preparation
- Consolacion National High School, Consolacion, Cebu - Technical Preparation
Laguna
Laguna is the first province south of Metro Manila, and remains the seat of automotive and semi-conductor industries in the country. Laguna hosts eighteen industrial parks, yielding various products that range from foodstuffs, handicrafts, semi-conductors, home appliances, and automobiles. This economic development also gives rise to in increase in the demand for a sophisticated labor force. Utilizing the Technical Preparation Model, the five project sites in Laguna are:
- Pulo National High Scool, Cabuyao, Laguna
- Calamba Bayside National High School, Calamba City, Laguna
- San Pedro Relocation Centre National High Scool, San Pedro, Laguna
- Binan Secondary School for Applied Academics, Binan, Laguna
- Aplaya National High School Annex, Sta. Rosa, Laguna
Leyte
Leyte is a highly agricultural province with very limited industrial opportunities. Following the Entrepreneurial Preparation Model (except for LIDE, which follows the Technical Preparation Model), Project APEX runs in eight project sites:
- Tanauan National High School, Tanauan, Leyte
- Kananga National High School, Kananga, Leyte
- Alangalang National High School, Alangalang, Leyte
- Dulag National High School, Dulag, Leyte
- Matlang National High School, Isabel, Leyte
- Baybay National High School, Baybay, Leyte
