learning programs such as eXCELS, COMPETE, and other
modularized on-line short courses.
iFLEX Courses
The Instructional and Curricular Excellence in School
Leadership for Southeast Asia is a two-module summer
short course for Philippine school heads. The first
two modules of LEARNTECH eXCELS was packaged into
a short course for select Philippine Department of
Education (DepED) - National Capital Region (NCR)
school heads who are members of the prestigious Philippine
Elementary Schools Principals Association or PESPA.
TEACHeXCELS (Teaching-Learning Excellence in School
Leadership for Southeast Asia) is a four-week short
course package of SEAMEO INNOTECH for elementary
and secondary school leaders on developing
the various aspects of the teaching-learning process.
It addresses the need to develop the school head’s
role as instructional leader in promoting or improving
the quality of teaching and learning in his/her school.
