As part of its commitment to its clients, SEAMEO INNOTECH offers a wide variety of training courses to complement those scheduled for the year. This is in response to numerous requests from both member and non-member countries for the Center to mount courses suited to their varying human resource development needs as those described below.

Supervisory Development Programs

To provide supervisors and middle-level managers with a comprehensive human resource program aimed at transforming them into hands-on no-nonsense officers, with improved communication skills and able to carry out mentoring, team management, as well as task management.

Assessing and Nurturing the Multiple Intelligences

To acquaint stakeholders in education with the significance of determining the multiple intelligences of learners, how to assess and develop the MI profile, and what schools and parents can do to develop and harness the multiple intelligences to facilitate learning.

Preparing Teachers to Teach with Technology

To equip instructors in teacher training institutes and trainers of teachers with the competency to train teachers and would-be teachers on the utilization of appropriate technology for greater learning effectiveness.

Educational Policy Research and Analysis

To upgrade knowledge and skills of educational researchers and planners on policy research and analysis.

To provide trainers and HRD practitioners with the knowledge and skills in conducting competency assessment and profiling, determining development gaps and establishing an HRD program based on the profiling results.

Planning and Management of Distance and Open Learning

To provide educators in the formal and nonformal systems an in-depth orientation on the features and components of distance education and open learning as alternative delivery systems and enable them to gain a wider perspective on the more effective strategies in planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of distance education and open learning programs and projects.

Process Observation and Analysis Techniques for Classroom Teachers and Trainers

To help trainers and teachers become more sensitive to training/classroom environment including team dynamics in order to effectively facilitate learning processes.

Designing Multimedia Materials

To enhance the competency of course developers, instructional supervisors and teachers in conceptualizing and designing multimedia instructional materials to cater to differing learning styles.

Module/Instructional Materials Development

To equip participants with the desired competencies for developing instructional materials or modules for use in educational programs or projects.

Planning and Managing Equivalency and Accreditation Programs

To provide participants with knowledge and skills in planning and managing equivalency and accreditation programs for non-formal education learners.

Project Development and Analysis

To introduce participants to the systematic procedure of project development focused on the project cycle, project identification, consultative processes of defining projects, basic analysis in determining project soundness and acceptability.
