INNOTECH IT Achievement Award

The SEAMEO INNOTECH IT Achievement Award, given during the National Finals of the Intel Philippines Science fair on March 4, 2004, was bestowed on Mr. Lemuel Diamente, a teacher at the Leyte State University Lab High School. He won for advising a group of students in their project "Development of a Computer Program for the Determination of Psychometric Properties of Air." The students were Stephen Alexeus G. Baltazar, Paul Winston W. Tabada and Janice F. Bellezas.

Almost a hundred projects competed at the three-day Intel Philippine Science Fair, an annual nationwide competition among high shool students that aims to promote science and technology consciousness among the youth through the exhibition of science investigative or research projects.

The IT Award is SEAMEO INNOTECH's way of fostering the spirit of innovation among teachers and students.
