PAMANA Graduation Ceremonies
Project TAO Kiddie Pamana has just ended its first
run, producing more than 800 graduates at the
commencement exercises held in Malabon City, Philippines.
The three-month program was undertaken to help
young children coming from low-income households
of Malabon to be physically ready and socially
adjusted to begin their formal primary schooling.
Project sponsor Senator Teresa Aquino Oreta encouraged
the mothers to promote the health habits the children
learned in school.

On...
Two INNOTECH program directors
ended decades of service as they retired from
their posts in January 2004. Dr. Ophelia P. Veniegas,
former Program Director for Training, relinquished
her post to Mr. Philip John Purnell, former Training
Specialist. Mrs. Priscilla G. Cabanatan, on the
other hand, turned over the leadership of the
Center's ICT Program to Mrs. Carolyn S. Rodriguez,
former Publications and Documentations Officer.
Dr.
Veniegas and Mrs. Cabanatan remain connected with
the Center as consultants.
