School Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

The SEAMEO INNOTECH course on Monitoring and Evaluating Standards-Based School Performance was held from 15-28 February 2006 under the auspices of the SEAMEO Education Development Fund.

The course aimed to upgrade the competency of selected secondary school heads and education officers from SEAMEO member countries to lead in the monitoring and evaluation of standards-based school performance towards quality improvement.

Best practices in monitoring and evaluating school performance were shared among the participants while various sessions dwelt with critical M&E competencies that school heads need to improve the quality of education they deliver.
