• Implement learner-responsive and culturally-sensitive strategies, including ICT-based approaches, aimed at increasing access and improving quality

Project Inputs

• Media Technology for the 122 ELSA text2teach schools (Television Set, MediaMaster, Satellite dish, other AV equipment)
• Lesson Plans/Teacher's Guides, Learning Guides/Modules
  The video and audio packages bring to life important concepts in science, mathematics, and English that are aligned with DepEd's BEC. These have been customized for Filipino students, incorporating sights and sounds that are familiar to them, to establish a meaningful connection to what they know and what they will learn from the video and audio lessons. 
• Training of Trainers, Teachers, and Orientation/Briefing for School Heads/Principals
• Linkages/Networks
• Technical Assistance during the project cycle
• Advocacy and community mobilization (e.g., community orientations, project launches, and continuing focused group discussions)

Teacher's guides in Grades 5 and 6 science, mathematics, and English were produced for the  ELSA text2teach project.
