Title:              Teachers Support Materials for Edukasyong
                    Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan.  
Project Leader(s):  Bureau of Elementary Education.  
Objectives:         To enhance the capabilities of EPP teachers in
                    teaching Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan.
Methodology:        The project will develop a resource book of
                    prototype lessons in all the phases of work
                    covered in EPP.  Although the goal is to provide
                    each EPP teacher a copy of the resource material,
                    only 1000 copies will be produced this year.  
Background:         This project draws rationale from the result of
                    HSMS I study which revealed that only 57 percent
                    of the sample teachers perceived their ability to
                    teach the subject as average.  Same teachers
                    pointed out preparing plans as the area where
                    they most need assistance.  
Expected Outcomes:  Resource book of prototype lessons.  
Results to Date:    Prepared project proposal and plans for
                    implementation of EPP Resource Handbook.  
                    Conducted seminar-workshop for the preparation of
                    plans for implementation.
