Title: Livelihood Education Instructional Materials
(LIEM) for the Mentally Retarded & Children with
Behavior Problems*.

Objectives: To develop instructional materials in teaching
livelihood education for the mentally
retarded/children with behavior problems: a. To
validate the LEIM in selected schools; and. b.
To revise the materials based on the feedbacks
gathered.
Methodology: The LEIM prepared in a seminar/workshop where
SPED teachers, administrators and consultants met
for 10 days to determine what
materials/activities are suited for the MR and
BP.
Background: One of the major concerns of SPED is the
production of instructional materials that will
improve the delivery of services addressed to
both in-school and out-of-school children with
special needs.
Expected Outcomes: Livelihood Education Instructional Materials for
the Mentally Retarded, Children with behavior
problems and hearing disabilities.
