Tuga\, President of the Philippine Normal University. His presentation\, “Strengthening Teacher Education in ASEAN: The Strategic Role of the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN)\,” placed teacher education at the center of efforts to respond to the evolving needs of learners and education systems across Southeast Asia. \n\n\n\nDr. Tuga highlighted the importance of strengthening teacher preparation and fostering cooperation among teacher education institutions in the region.
