SEAMEO INNOTECH joins the Philippines in supporting the celebration of National Teachers’ Month 2026, observed nationwide from September 5 to October 5. National Teachers’ Month recognizes the vital role and contributions of Filipino teachers to learners, families, communities, and nation-building.

The month-long observance was formally established through Presidential Proclamation No. 242, s. 2011, which calls on government institutions, the private sector, and the public to participate in and support the celebration. In support of this national observance, SEAMEO INNOTECH joins the education community in recognizing and expressing appreciation for Filipino teachers and their service to education.
