Jennifer Wong Yok Ting is the Head of the School Leadership Unit at the Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teacher Academy (BDLTA), Department of Educators Management, Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam. With over two decades of experience in education and leadership development, she has been at the forefront of strengthening school leadership capacity and professional learning across the nation.
She leads the design and implementation of Brunei Darussalam’s competency-based school leadership development programmes, supporting the growth of aspiring and serving school leaders through evidence-informed, future-focused, and impactful professional learning. Jennifer also played a pivotal role in developing the Brunei Darussalam School Leadership Standards and Competency Framework (BDSLSCF), which underpins leadership development and succession planning within the education system.
Beyond her national responsibilities, Jennifer serves as Chairperson of the Governing Board of SEAMEO INNOTECH, contributing to regional efforts in educational leadership, innovation, and capacity building. Prior to her current role, she served as a lead facilitator and coach for Brunei’s national School Leadership Programme at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Jennifer holds a Master in Public Policy and Management from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Georgetown University, Washington D.C., USA. Her contributions have been recognised with the Meritorious Service Medal in 2021 and the Special Teacher Mention Award in 2009. She is passionate about developing future-ready leaders who drive educational excellence, innovation, and meaningful transformation.
