ASEAN BAC

When conversations connect sectors, they shape the future of an entire region

SEAMEO INNOTECH, led by Center Director Dr. Majah Leah V. Ravago, engaged with ASEAN-BAC Philippines—ASEAN’s apex private sector advisory body that directly informs regional leaders and drives economic integration—to explore a strategic partnership for the 2026 Chairship. Convened by Former DTI Undersecretary Nora “Noya” Terrado, Senior Adviser for Women, the discussion advanced a shared agenda on women’s economic empowerment, with a strong push for greater participation in STEAM and ICT.

The dialogue sets the stage for impactful collaboration in research, capacity-building, and evidence-based policy support—bridging education, business, and policy to accelerate inclusive growth across ASEAN.

Because when the right voices come together, regional change becomes real.
