DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines — SEAMEO INNOTECH completed the three-day Innovators SEAL: Designing, Developing, and Implementing Online Programs for Higher Education workshop with academic leaders and faculty members of Universidad de Dagupan, supporting the University’s efforts to strengthen its online learning capabilities.
The workshop explored strategic, instructional, and technological approaches to expanding educational reach, developing micro-credentials, and supporting lifelong learning. Participants engaged in hands-on activities, collaborative planning, and course development focused on the design and delivery of online programs.
As part of the workshop, participants worked on creating learning management system courses and developing program pitches. The activities applied visionary planning, modern pedagogy, and digital transformation approaches to widen educational access and foster continuous learning.
The final day focused on the hands-on application of Moodle, with participants building and optimizing their own digital learning environments. By moving from planning and design to implementation, the workshop enabled educators and academic leaders to apply the concepts discussed throughout the three-day program.
Through Innovators SEAL, SEAMEO INNOTECH worked with Universidad de Dagupan to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop and implement online learning programs.
