SEAMEO INNOTECH launched the Innovators SEAL: Supervision, Coaching, and Mentoring for School Leaders program on 28 September 2026, bringing together 81 school heads, public schools district supervisors, and education program supervisors from the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO) Manila to strengthen their supervision, coaching, and mentoring practices.
The program began with an online orientation, introducing participants to a 12-week learning journey consisting of five modules that combine self-paced online learning with live collaborative sessions.
Through the program, participating school leaders will explore approaches to supervising, coaching, and mentoring teachers, with an emphasis on making professional support more responsive, growth-focused, and learner-centered.
The initiative reflects SEAMEO INNOTECH’s continued efforts to support school leaders in strengthening their leadership practices and providing meaningful guidance to teachers and learners.
