JAKARTA, Indonesia — SEAMEO INNOTECH highlighted its research-based programs and initiatives at the SEAMEO Centres Policy Research Network (CPRN) Summit 2026, held from 9 to 11 June 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, demonstrating how the Centre translates research into responsive education policies and practices across Southeast Asia.
Guided by the theme, “Bridging Research , Policy, and Practice: Pathways toward Inclusive, Equitable, and Sustainable Futures,” the summit convened education leaders, researchers, and practitioners from across the region to exchange evidence-based insights and strengthen collaboration in education, science, and culture.
Among the initiatives presented was Career Development for Children (CD4C) in Philippine Elementary Schools, shared by Senior Specialist Ms. Lauren Nerisse S. Bautista. The presentation examined how elementary schools support early career awareness among Key Stage 1 learners. INNOTECH Officer Ms. Raphaella Mae Navarrosa also showcased Project SENANG, highlighting the Centre’s efforts to promote child-centered, inclusive, and peace-oriented learning environments.
Complementing these program presentations, SEAMEO INNOTECH Centre Director Dr. Majah-Leah V. Ravago delivered a plenary presentation on “Artificial Intelligence for Equity,” emphasizing the role of emerging technologies in advancing more inclusive and equitable learning futures.
Through its participation in the CPRN Summit 2026, SEAMEO INNOTECH underscored its commitment to developing and sharing research-informed programs that contribute to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable education across Southeast Asia.
