BUTUAN CITY, Philippines — SEAMEO INNOTECH explored smarter ways of working with DepEd Caraga’s non-teaching personnel through “Work Smarter: Aligning Purpose, Performance, and People,” connecting purpose and performance with innovation, workplace communication, responsible AI use, and professional development. The engagement was held in two batches from 24–27 August 2026 in Butuan City.
Led by SEAMEO INNOTECH’s Teacher Quality Development Unit (TQDU), the engagement covered aligning purpose and performance, fostering innovation, effective workplace communication, working intelligently and responsibly with artificial intelligence (AI), and personal and professional development.
Throughout the program, participants reflected on smarter ways of working and how they could apply their learning in the workplace.
Through engagements such as Work Smarter, SEAMEO INNOTECH continues its commitment to supporting education personnel in strengthening workplace practices, fostering innovation, and navigating the responsible use of emerging technologies such as AI.
