SENIOR ASSOCIATE (Center Nurse)
JOB SUMMARY
- Provide basic medical services, basic medicines and instituting of health and wellness activities in the Center.
- Handle and provide technical support in the implementation of HRU-initiated Centerwide activities.
ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTS
- Administration of responsive basic clinical services.
- 100% availability of medicines for common illnesses.
- Timely coordination of claims and utilizations with different health services providers.
- Timely coordination of the approved health and wellness program of the Center.
- Up to date health records of staff.
- Timely and efficient provision of logistical and technical support in implementing HRU- initiated Centerwide activities.
- Other accountabilities relevant to health, wellness, and programs of HRU.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Medical Care/ Insurance Coverage
- Provide basic medical assessment and counselling/ advise on various medical concerns.
- Review and maintain pertinent medical records of all staff and provide quarterly reports to ensure careful monitoring of individual health conditions.
- Provide basic medical assistance such as first aid treatment, blood pressure monitoring and other basic emergency treatments that may be required.
- Manages a medical clinic for regular check-ups, first aid & emergency treatments, provision of initial medicines and other medical assistance for health concerns.
- Coordinate with the Center’s accredited Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) for smooth and proper availment of medical requirements and services such as, but not limited to, hospitalization, annual physical examination, health and dental consultations, executive check-ups, lectures, provision of seminars and educational material and contract renewal.
- Facilitate and coordinate life, accident and travel claims to concerned service providers. Communicates with service providers, as necessary.
- Provide assistance in processing claims, medical reimbursements and claiming of Company and Government benefits/privileges during confinements.
- Health and Wellness Program Management
- Provide basic wellness coaching by developing a customized care plan.
- Design, organize, implement, and evaluate recreational and sports activities, and other in-house health and wellness activities.
- Promote healthy habits and lifestyle among Center personnel by providing various health and wellness activities.
- Clinic and gym equipment management.
- Act as Project Manager in rolling out HRU-initiated Centerwide program/activities, such as, but not limited to:· Christmas Party celebration
· Anniversary celebration
· Center outing
· Retirement program
· Staff Social Responsibility activities
- Perform other related task/s that may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Attainment
- Completion of B.S. Nursing course from a duly recognized/accredited institution of higher learning, preferably with 18 units towards a master’s degree.
- Work Experience
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience/training (with 18 units toward master’s degree).
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience/training (without 18 units toward master’s degree).
- Licensure
- Must be a Registered Nurse.
