TERMS OF REFERENCE
I. JOB SUMMARY
Design, manage, and evaluate the pilot implementation of mid-sized and single-component learning and development programs and projects of the School Leadership Development Unit (SLDU).

III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-

-
Develop LNA design, conduct learning needs assessment using appropriate methodologies and analyze the learning needs of prospective participants and partners;
-
Conduct research about the trends in training development to ensure learning and development programs and tools remain relevant and incorporate best practices in the field;
-
Develop macro/microlearning design, learning content, and identify appropriate tools to use for a variety of delivery platforms;
-
Organize and implement the assigned training and development programs; facilitate virtual, blended, and face to face training and serve as a resource person to a specific area of competence;
-
Manage the development of learning modules and other instructional materials (applied either face to face, blended or online) and associated components & other multi-media components, including videos, instructional graphics, visual assets, and user interface, collaborating with external consultants as needed;

Participate in the conceptualization, design, planning, organizing, coordination, and management of learning and development programs and other complex capability-building interventions of the Centre;

Implement project level M & E to determine effectiveness and continuous improvement of the learning and development programs;

Prepare quality project mid-term/terminal reports of the assigned learning and development programs;

Work with (as needed) the promotion and marketing team in the development of learning assets and marketing materials to generate increased awareness, enrolment, and engagement in the learning and development programs of the unit;

Prepare budget and monitor expenses and expenditures for course design and pilot implementation;

Coordinate & partner with individuals, public and private sector and institutions, government agencies, funding organizations, and other stakeholders involved in supporting the learning and development programs;
-
Monitor delivery of individual member commitments on the assigned projects and provide input in the performance of other SLDU staff, other unit staff, and partners who served as member/s of assigned learning program/s;

Manage the portfolio of contracts with external service providers of the assigned projects and introduce changes to the TOR as needed; and
-
Performs other related task/s that may be assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Attainment
-
-
-
- Completion of an appropriate baccalaureate degree from a duly recognized institution of higher learning, preferably with master’s degree.

Work Experience
-
-
-
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience/training (with master’s degree).
- Up to 7 years of relevant experience/training (if without master’s degree).
