
PROJECT ASSOCIATE (KRC Archives)
TERMS OF REFERENCE
I. JOB SUMMARY
Provides assistance and technical guidance in the development and establishment of a functional and centralized archives and records management section for the Centre.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Technical guidance in the development and implementation of work plan and policies for the SEAMEO INNOTECH Centralized Archives and Records Management Section.
- Coordination of services relating to maintenance and development of the Centre’s archival collection including system and equipment thereof.
- Provision of technical archival services, which involve the preservation and conservation of archival records of the Centre and its retrieval and maintenance.

- Assist in the conceptualization and coordinates the implementation of the Centre’s Archives and Records Management Development Plan.
- Provide technical guidance in the sorting, maintenance, preservation, and conservation of archival records (photos, documents, monographs, and multimedia resources) of the Centre.
- Sort, classify and index identified and recognized archival records and documents of SEAMEO INNOTECH for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in the selection and acquisition of an archival system for institutional records of the Centre.
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

- Completed Bachelor of Library and Information Science or Bachelor of Library Science degree, with at least six months of related working experience.
- Computer literate and knowledgeable in using archival system/software.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the preservation and conservation of archival records.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with excellent oral and written communication skills/administrative skills.
