Senior Project Associate (KM Services)

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Information Management Unit Head, the incumbent shall be responsible for conceptualizing, collecting data, conducting web research, writing and editing of information and communication materials for print and web formats and undertaking project coordination tasks in support of the Center knowledge management programs and projects (i.e., Knowledge Capture and Implementation of the Results of the Audience Analysis Study).

The incumbent shall likewise assist in the dissemination and/or technology transfer of education solutions/knowledge products of the Center and coordinate external/clients’ requests for technical assistance (e.g., solution/product orientation, adoption/adaption or roll out).

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Publications and Documentation

  • Collect and organize information/materials for publications, primarily for use in the INNOTECH reports and collaterals. Tasks include writing, editing, proofreading, layout, design, graphics/artwork and press work.
  • Draft and edit reports, concept papers, speeches, research abstracts/reports, proceedings of learning sessions and other documents in connection with INNOTECH programs, projects and activities, including documentation of meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences.
  • Assist in conducting evaluation of INNOTECH knowledge products, including publications and provide recommendations/suggestions for improvement.
  • Provide technical support in distribution/dissemination of INNOTECH publications to various users, including educational institutions, research centers and libraries.
  • Perform related task/s that may be assigned.

2. Online Information Services

  • Provide inputs for the Center’s website and other social media sites, including identifying, developing and publishing relevant content for the Center’s constituencies.
  • In coordination with relevant Center Offices/Units, recommend changes in the features and functionalities of the Center’s homepage and develop a suitable mobile application software to meet requirements.
  • Develop new content for specified audiences; these would include original content such as features, slideshows, videos, blogs and podcasts
  • Provide inputs in the production and dissemination of the Center knowledge products as well as internally produced publications for the year using appropriate dissemination strategies, tactics and format.
  • Perform related task/s that may be assigned.

3. Dissemination and Technology Transfer

  • Support dissemination and technology transfer activities and technical assistance programs of KMNO.
  • Coordinate and complete all pertinent activities and desired outputs of the MT4T Audience Analysis Project and its succeeding phases or deliverables.
  • Conduct dissemination/technology transfer events and activities of Center knowledge products.

4. Knowledge Management

  • Undertake coordination tasks related to the project on Knowledge Capture.
  • Perform related task/s that may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

 Educational Attainment

  • Completed university degree in communication or related disciplines in the Social Sciences.

Work Experience

  • Computer literate and knowledgeable in copy editing and copywriting, documentation tasks, website content management and dissemination activities using various platforms/social media.
  • Competent in carrying out project management functions and related skill sets.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision with excellent oral and written communication skills/administrative skills.
