SEAMEO INNOTECH is gathering young people from Southeast Asia to deepen the discussions and take greater ownership of the Youth Declaration on Transforming Education in the Region.

 

Happening on June 27-28, 2023, the Youth Summit will highlight the sharing and learning from the working models and educational innovations happening on the ground and representing seeds of transformation. These will serve as inspiration to spark new ideas, projects, and collaborative actions to bring forward the Youth Declaration into concrete steps at the classroom, school, community, and country levels.

Forum Objectives

Have an increased understanding of and take greater ownership of the Youth Declaration to transforming education

Share and learn from the innovations and working models of education transformation on the ground

Gather young people’s collective views and youth-led concrete actions to transforming education

Collectively undertake advocacy efforts to ensure effective implementation of the concrete actions

Offer recommendations to strengthen the Youth Network in Southeast Asia and its connection to the Global Youth Movement
