Monthly Spotlight – September 2019 Issue

Monthly Spotlight is an electronic publication of SEAMEO INNOTECH which features a certain research or learning program. For the month of September 2019, we feature our new learning program, Becoming a Better Teacher Everyday (BBTE).

The Philippine Department of Education recognizes the importance of continuous improvement of teachers in advancing the quality of education in the country. In accordance to the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST), teachers are encouraged to further develop their capabilities and skills in 6 domain areas: Content Knowledge and Pedagogy; Learning Environment; Diversity of Learners; Curriculum and Planning; Assessment and Reporting; and Community Linkages and Professional Engagement.
