Advancing Regional Policy on Higher Education Micro-credentials

JAKARTA, Indonesia — SEAMEO INNOTECH participated in the Regional Policy Dialogue on Higher Education Micro-credentials on 8 June 2026 at the Mangkuluhur ARTOTEL Suites in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Organized by SEAMEO SEAMOLEC in collaboration with the Indonesia Cyber Education (ICE) Institute Consortium, the dialogue brought together regional leaders and education stakeholders to discuss emerging developments and policy directions for micro-credentials in higher education across Southeast Asia. 

The event served as a platform for participants to exchange perspectives and contribute to ongoing efforts to advance a regional policy framework that supports the recognition, quality, and implementation of micro-credentials in the region. 

Through its participation, SEAMEO INNOTECH contributed to regional discussions on innovative approaches to education and lifelong learning while supporting collaborative efforts to strengthen higher education systems across Southeast Asia.
