Competency-based Continuing Education Program for Teachers Utilizing Distance Education Technologies and Materials, or Project COMPETE, aims to develop and pilot test a competency-based continuing education program for teachers utilizing distance learning as a mode of delivery.
Thirty learning modules have been developed under this project. These modules target the development of teachers and administrators on different levels; as a person, as a professional, as a worker and as a member of the global village. Eight of the modules were accompanied by video supplements to help learners better understand the concepts taught.
