INNOTECH Highlights AI and Sustainability at Sustainability Week Asia

SEAMEO INNOTECH took part in the 5th Annual Sustainability Week Asia, held on 25–26 March 2026 at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, through its Centre Deputy Director, Kochakorn Khattapan‑Acidre, who joined a live plenary debate titled “This house believes that AI will reduce more emissions than it creates” on 26 March 2026, from 16:30 to 17:10 (Bangkok time). INNOTECH’s participation in this key program segment reinforced the Centre’s thought leadership in regional discussions, bringing an education, innovation, and policy perspective into dialogue on the sustainability implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
